Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Aionian Pty Ltd ("we," "us") governing your use of the Game Night Wallet mobile app (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. What the App is
Game Night Wallet is a digital wallet for tracking play money during in-person board game sessions. Every balance, payment, and transaction inside the App is fictional play currency for a game — it has no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for real money or any other item of value, and is not a substitute for, nor connected to, any bank account, payment card, or currency. The App is not a financial service, a bank, a money transmitter, or a payment processor, and nothing in the App constitutes financial advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age required by your country to consent to use of a service like this without parental approval, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Accounts and your data
The App does not require you to create a traditional account with a name, email, or password — it assigns your device an anonymous identifier the first time you open it. You're responsible for whatever display name, avatar, or currency-pack artwork you choose to associate with that identifier. 4. Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Upload, submit, or share (including to the public Gallery or with other players) any content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, harassing, or that you don't have the rights to use;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App's backend services;
- Use the App to represent, imply, or facilitate the exchange of real money or anything of real-world value;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. User-submitted content (Gallery)
If you choose to submit a custom currency pack (artwork, name, and description) to the public Gallery, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the App for other players to browse and use, for as long as your submission remains published. You retain ownership of what you submit, confirm you have the right to submit it, and can ask us to remove your submission from the Gallery at any time (see Privacy Policy). We reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any submitted content at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms.
6. In-app purchases
The App offers optional purchases through Apple's App Store or Google Play, processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store your payment card details. Pricing is set and displayed by Apple/Google at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
- Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes ads for your own device going forward.
- Premium Host is an auto-renewing subscription. While active, it removes ads for every player at tables you host. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length and price shown at purchase unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method will be charged for renewal through your App Store or Google Play account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we cannot cancel or refund a purchase on your behalf, as we never receive your payment information. Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
7. Advertising
Unless you've purchased Remove Ads or are playing at a table hosted by an active Premium Host, the App displays ads served by Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data AdMob may collect.
8. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — it depends on third-party infrastructure (including Supabase, Cloudflare, and app store services) outside our direct control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App — including loss of any in-app play-money balance or game history, which is not a store of real value and is not guaranteed to be preserved. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to backend services (e.g. a specific game table or Gallery submission) for conduct that violates these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, post a notice inside the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where your local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
